A simple but effective, well art directed advertising campaign by Ogilvy, Cape Town for Sea Rescue.

With only days till the launch of the new James Bond movie, it’s worth pointing out that The Quantum of Solace supporting campaign for Sony HD was developed at Fallon, London.
The television and cinema advertisement, launched on October 15 in the UK, shows Daniel Craig as James Bond, attempting to stand still for the camera, despite the spectacular explosions occurring behind him. Pretty awesome.

Michael Fakesch started DESIGNINGSOUNDS™ in 2006, though his musical career began 12 years earlier. In 1994, Michael co-founded the music project Funkstörung which became world renown for their remixes (e.g. Björk, Wu-Tang Clan), being one of the first bands signed to K7 Records, and of course their outstanding visual collaborations (e.g. the DVD Isolated).
And as if that weren’t enough on the plate, Michael also starting dabbling in the more corporate side of things by designing sound and music for the advertising industry.


The Olympic Games in Beijing may have recieved critical acclaim in the media and press but as this potent advert by TBWA points out, China has still got much to prove to the rest of the world. Created for Amnesty International it features an excellent use of the Olympic environment with a twist.
