In the meantime, check out Nadadora Studio, from the design hotbed that is Barcelona. I instantly fell in love with the dipping plate above that rests effortlessly on top of a tub of Nutella. Would it be wrong to use any leftover Quality Street to dip into the chocolaty spread?
Japanese psyscholoist Akiyoshi Kitaoka created these trippy visually whilst working towards his PhD in animal psychology. Which is quite a fitting visual style for the artwork of Animal Collective’s latest release.

Absolutely love this… Branding and digital agency Moving Brands has decided to document their pitch for the London re-branding public tender, as, in their own words, ‘we think it’s important that a public brand like this [London] isn’t designed behind closed doors.’ With this they have set up the blog A Brand For London to make public all their development work, and you can get involved as well by submitting your design/ideas here.
The work of Adam Rix is very impressive and with 30 industry awards who could argue! I especially love his work for gola, such vibrant colours just makes me want to go out and buy a pair! Have a scan through his site it’s full of gems.
Most people are familiar with RED, the fund raising organisation that works to promote awareness of the AIDS epidemic by collaboration with major brands (Converse & Apple). Designed by Wolff Olins it is one of the finest examples of original branding in the last ten years. However, I found this example of its use interesting as it has been picked up by a more specialised brand than previously, that of Girl Skateboards.
