Check out this clever and thought provoking street advertising campaign for the Australian Childhood Foundation. The campaign is currently running in Melbourne, Australia and was created by JWT.

Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek have spent the past fourteen years documenting the striking dress codes of various social groups from skinheads to gangs. Exactitudes is a humorous photographic look at the way in which we distinguish ourselves from others yet still remain part of a group identity.

Stine Belden Røed is a talented illustrator with an interesting style from Bergen, Norway.

Those of you who follow the Human Resources Twitter, may already be aware that we visited the Glasgow Art Fair yesterday. It was an inspiring day for all of us with many highlights. One such work was a £95,000 Banksy print, which featured along side an array of diverse and wondrous works. I have summarised my personal highlights, which you can find below.

Reuben Margolin is a Bay Area visionary and longtime maker, who creates totally singular techno-kinetic wave sculptures. Using everything from wood to cardboard to found and salvaged objects, Reuben’s artwork is diverse, with sculptures ranging from tiny to looming, and the motorised to the hand-cranked.
There is a great insight in to the life and works of Reuben in an interview by Make, which you can view below.

Those familiar with our Flickr stream may already have seen this, but it’s great to see that Mark Weaver has stuck to his word and made something cool everyday.

There is something really quite intriguing about an abandoned property. Maybe it’s those childhood memories of horror stories usually attached to them. Whatever it is, it has been beautifully captured in this photoset by Kevin Bauman.

“We Dance In Slow Motion” by the Telegraphs is the latest video from Steve Glashier. It’s haphazard style is both bizzare and stylish. Nice work Steve.

Jesse is an economics student at Carnegie Mellon University, but don’t hold that against him as he is also a talented coder. His most recent work is an installation at Kicksburgh. It’s an interactive “sneaker mirror” created by using Processing, that basically takes a live video feed and reproduces it as a mosaic of iconic sneakers.
It reminds me of the work of Daniel Rozin, who coincedentally has been referenced by Jesse on his website. Über cool!

Interesting portfolio from McDonagh. He has spent the past few year shooting a huge range of bands. Until recently New York-based, he has now moved back to his native Ireland. Some nice editoral work in there too.

Joachim Brohm is one of those photographers who’s pictures tell more than a 1000 words. Every image leads your imagination to wander and wonder what happened in the build up to the shot.
