The Crazy Horse Memorial is a mountain monument in the Black Hills of South Dakota, in the form of Crazy Horse, an Oglala Lakota warrior, riding a horse and pointing into the distance.

Environmental design firm timelinks have released plans for a new carbon neutral city of the future in Dubai Ziggurat. Inspired by the ancient Ziggurats the futuristic pyramid structure spans over an area of 2.3sq km and will be able to known as ‘sustain a community of up to 1 million. Complexes within the city will take up less than 10 % of the original land surface, also providing an area for agriculture. the city will be entirely self sufficient as power will be supplied through steam, wind turbines and natural energy resources. Transport will operate horizontally and vertically through a 360 degree network eliminating the need for cars.

Clay is a health food in the amazing Melbourne. The wallpaper is based on the shop’s logo, designed by SouthBySouthwest. The logo was hand drawn to create an amazing brand, check it out!

Stag Scafolding Sculpture

This stunning sculpture by British artist, Ben Long is part of the umbrella group, The Great Travelling Art Exhibition. Its an ongoing public art project that Long started in 2001.


You can’t visit Edinburgh without coming across the work of an artist & illustrator by the name of Elph. Funnily enough, he lives in the street right next to me, but don’t let that put you off visiting his website. Awesome work. Oh, and he is also on Flickr and Vimeo.

Naoto Fukasawa

This is one of my favourite packaging designs. Created by Naoto Fukasawa, this Japanese banana juice carton emulates the banana skin to such a level of detail that you would honestly believe it was the real deal. Well, apart from the shape of course!

United Visual Artists are a British-based collective whose current practice spans permanent architectural installation, live performance and responsive installation. Research and development is a core part of their process – enabling them to constantly explore new fields, as well as re-examining more established ones.

They have just updated their website so it is well worth checking out!
